This policy explains what information MyMintCut ("we", "us") does and — more importantly — does not collect when you use this website, and how the little that exists is handled.

1. Your files never leave your device

All MyMintCut utilities (image compression, image conversion, PDF merging and related tools) process files entirely within your web browser, using your device's own processing power. When you select or drop a file into a tool:

  • The file is not uploaded to our servers or to any third party.
  • We never receive, see, store, scan or back up your files or their contents.
  • All processing happens in your browser's memory and is discarded when you close or reload the page.

Because your files are never transmitted to us, there is no file data for us to retain, share, sell or delete.

2. Information stored on your device

MyMintCut uses your browser's localStorage to remember two small preferences: your light/dark theme choice and whether you dismissed the privacy notice banner. This data stays in your browser, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

3. Hosting and server logs

The static files that make up this website (pages, styles, scripts) are delivered by our hosting provider. Like virtually all web hosts, the provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) for security and operational purposes. These logs concern the delivery of the website itself — never the files you process with the tools.

4. Advertising and cookies

MyMintCut is free to use and is funded by advertising displayed alongside the tools. We work (or plan to work) with third-party advertising partners such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and — where you have consented — to personalize them:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), you will be asked for consent before advertising cookies are set, and ads will not be personalized without it. Advertising scripts never have access to the files you process — file handling and ad delivery are completely separate.

5. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which tools are useful (for example, page view counts). Any analytics used on this site will never involve the contents of your files.

6. Children's privacy

This website is a general-audience utility site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change how this site works — for example, adding a new advertising partner — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
