About MyMintCut

MyMintCut is a small collection of file utilities — an image compressor, an image converter, PDF tools and more — built around one simple idea: you shouldn't have to upload your files to a stranger's server just to compress a photo or merge two PDFs.

How it works

Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser, using capabilities that are already built into modern browsers: the Canvas API for image work and the open-source pdf-lib library for PDF work. When you drop a file into a tool, it is read and processed locally by your own device. There is no upload, no processing queue, and no copy of your file anywhere but your computer or phone.

This has three nice side effects. It's private by design — we couldn't look at your files even if we wanted to, because we never receive them. It's fast — no time is wasted moving megabytes across the internet. And it works offline-ish — once a tool page has loaded, weak Wi-Fi won't interrupt your work.

Why is it free?

MyMintCut is supported by unobtrusive advertising on the pages around the tools. Ads never interact with your files — file processing stays entirely on your device. You can read more about how advertising works on this site in our Privacy Policy.
